Ana is an interactive tourism app that allows you to discover the cultural and festive heritage of La Vila Joiosa in an innovative way.
Through a guided map, the app connects different emblematic points of the city with murals, QR codes, and themed podcasts that explain the most representative traditions, festivals, and gastronomic events of the municipality.
The app offers an immersive experience that blends tourism, urban art, and digital content, allowing residents and visitors to learn about the history, curiosities, and key figures behind important celebrations such as local festivals and traditional culinary events. It also includes a calendar to check event dates and plan your visit.
In short, Navega La Vila is a tool that transforms a walk through the city into an interactive cultural tour, bringing the user closer to the essence and traditions of La Vila Joiosa.
Navega La Vila is an innovative tourism app created to discover La Vila Joiosa in a different, interactive, and accessible way. Through an urban tour that combines art, technology, and cultural heritage, the app guides residents and visitors to various emblematic locations in the municipality where themed murals dedicated to the city’s main festivals and gastronomic events can be found. Each mural incorporates QR codes that provide access to exclusive multimedia content, including podcasts, images, interviews, and interesting facts related to each celebration.
The app includes an interactive map that makes it easy to locate different points of interest, as well as an up-to-date events calendar so users can plan their visit and learn more about the traditions that form part of Villajoyosa’s identity. Highlights along the route include the Casa del Mar (House of the Sea), the Costera de la Mar (Seafront Promenade), the Central Market, the Hermitage, and the Plaça del Castell (Castle Square).
The project is part of the tourism initiative “Navega La Vila Podcast”, promoted by the Department of Tourism of La Vila Joiosa, which brings together eight podcasts dedicated to emblematic festivals and gastronomic events such as Moros y Cristianos, San Miguel, la Pebrereta or Xocolatíssima.
The app Navigate La Vila It has been recognized for its innovative nature and its ability to combine tourism, culture, and technology. Among its main awards are the Best Branded Content Execution Award at Publifestival 2025 and the 9th Tourist Info Innovation Award 2026. Furthermore, the project was a finalist at the Ibero-American Creativity Festival (FIAP) and the Agripina Awards, establishing itself as a benchmark in tourism communication and the promotion of cultural heritage.
