The quality of the water, the continuous improvement of services and facilities, and the care for the environment are guaranteed by ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental Certifications for all the beaches and coves in the municipality. Furthermore, the Blue Flag awarded annually by the European Foundation for Environmental Education and the Qualitur award from the Valencian Regional Government fly on many of Villajoyosa’s beaches, which meet the highest quality standards, always adhering to criteria of accessibility and sustainability of this unique natural environment.

The diversity and quality of the waters and facilities, together with the accessible beach point that is set up every summer (from July to September) on Playa Centro to facilitate access to bathing for all people with reduced mobility, make La Vila Joiosa, and its natural heritage, the coastal benchmark of the Costa Blanca.

Les Puntes del Moro Beach

Cala de les Puntes del Moro is a quiet, semi-urban cove with pebbles, ideal for those seeking relaxation near Malladeta Mountain. It is 210 meters long, has crystal-clear waters, a beach bar in the summer, and is perfect for snorkeling and enjoying views of the coast.

El Xarco Beach

A pet-friendly beach at one end, consisting of pebbles, gravel, and sand, located more than 3.5 kilometers from the town center in the direction of Alicante.

It features the Torre del Xarco, which is 580 meters long, as well as snorkeling spots and picnic areas.

Racó del Conill Beach

This cove, with its pebbles and sand, is located 3 kilometers from the town center in the direction of Benidorm. It is 160 meters long and is divided in two by a rocky outcrop. It is one of the coves with the longest tradition of nudism in the Marina Baixa region.

Estudiants Beach

A narrow cove with fine pebbles and gravel and crystal-clear waters, located within the Varadero complex next to the fishing port.

Carritxal Beach

A pebble and rock beach next to the Carritxal ravine, a natural cove of great environmental value that is difficult to access, rarely visited, and surrounded by vegetation.

Tío Roig Beach

A cove with rocks, gravel, and open sea, part of the Varadero area and perfect for enjoying crystal-clear waters.

Varadero Beach

Next to the fishing port of La Vila Joiosa are these three coves with pebbles, gravel, and sand. Varadero Beach, the widest of the three, gets its name from an old shipyard. It’s ideal for families and perfect for snorkeling or sunbathing.

El Torres Beach

A semi-urban beach with gravel and sand, surrounded by nature, located 2 kilometers from the town center in the direction of Benidorm.

La Caleta Beach

A little over two km from the town center of La Vila Joiosa, heading toward Alicante, we find this charming cove with fine pebbles and gravel.

Downtown Beach

A long, sandy beach. Over 1300 meters to enjoy unforgettable walks along the Mediterranean shore. Located in the town center, it's perfect for families. Accessible Beaches is available in the "Basseta l'Oli" area, next to the Yacht Club.

L’Esparrelló Beach

Discover Cala de L'Esparrelló in Villajoyosa, a beach with crystal-clear waters that is suitable for nudism.

Bol Nou Beach

This beach, with its fine pebbles and sand, is located two kilometers from the city center in the direction of Alicante.

Paradise Beach

It is an open beach that has retained its natural setting, with stretches of fine, golden sand and areas of gravel. Palm trees are a part of this setting, and the beach is easily accessible.
