Perolet Week

Villajoyosa’s Setmana del Perolet is a culinary event that showcases the town’s home-style cooking and most traditional flavors. Focusing on hearty stews, the initiative revives seafood stews, vegetable stews, and recipes prepared in a “perolet” (small pot), passed down from generation to generation and deeply rooted in Villajoyosa’s identity.
During the festival, local restaurants participate by offering special menus that reinterpret and keep alive the essence of traditional cuisine. This event is part of the La Vila Gastronòmica program, an initiative that blends the town’s seafaring heritage with its renowned chocolate-making tradition, creating an authentic culinary experience for both residents and visitors.
