La Vila Joiosa, historical capital of the Marina Baixa region, is a village on the Costa Blanca (Alicante), in the Valencian Community. It is located 8 km from Benidorm and 32 km from Alicante.

La Vila Joiosa has 15 kilometers of coastline and 13 beaches and coves holding certificates of quality of waters and services. A village with an area of 38,5 kilometers and a population of around 35.000 inhabitants.

Climate

The location of La Vila Joiosa, just nine meters above sea level, gives it an exceptional climate, typically Mediterranean, throughout the year, with almost 365 days of sunshine, hardly any rain and no frost.
