Snorkeling Routes
The extensive coastline and diverse beaches and coves of La Vila Joiosa offer opportunities for various water sports. Among these is snorkeling, which involves observing the underwater world from the surface using a mask and snorkel.
It is undoubtedly the most respectful way to enter and remain in the sea, generally doing so from the coast and without polluting means, and developing on the surface without contact with the bottom and the life that is in it.
It's an activity for children and adults; all you need is the ability to swim and be comfortable in the water. And above all, be respectful of the environment—we mustn't forget that the sea is the largest ecosystem on our planet. Snorkeling allows us to enjoy the sea while also protecting it.
Here are six snorkeling routes, on the different beaches of La Vila, with spectacular underwater scenery and marine life waiting for you.
We recommend respecting the marine environment, refraining from removing any flora or fauna, and exercising extreme caution while snorkeling and when accessing rocky areas. Always check sea conditions and the flag system before beginning the activity.
