Varadero Beach

Next to the fishing port of La Vila Joiosa are these three coves with pebbles, gravel, and sand. Varadero Beach, the widest of the three, gets its name from an old shipyard. It’s ideal for families and perfect for snorkeling or sunbathing.

Each of the beaches is about 130 meters long and offers easy pedestrian access via a wide promenade at the base of the cliffs.

The first of these, the largest, takes its name from an old shipyard that used to be located there, and some of its remains can still be seen. This beach is ideal for families and also offers an excellent snorkeling spot, though it’s also perfect for sunbathing.

"Estudiants" is a narrow cove with fine pebbles and gravel and crystal-clear waters. "Tio Roig" is a cove with rocks, gravel, and open sea. Both are perfect for enjoying the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean.
